I run with my up, as after adjusting them (manually) it is a pita to have to adjust both non power mirrors. I like the way I see with them and have really gotten used to how they show the road behind me. So weather they look better in or out, I run mine out because it works for me.
I tow a TT about 10 times a year that's all and I like the way they show the trailer sides. And the ground.

That would clearly depend upon age. Up to about 25 years of age, a perpetual b---r is kinda expected. But for us older gentlemen.....anything over 4 hours and you should contact your doctor.

Kine were up when I got the truck... never messed with them till I read this thread. So I put them down. My wife drove the truck last week back and forth to work and after a couple days I noticed she had flipped them back up. Says it makes the truck look better. Give me a, give me a, redneck girl!!!!! Pull that.

Plus it keeps people from parking to close and banging up my panels. There are two other girls at the eye doctors she works at that have Cummins trucks a gen three and a gen two and the park together across 4 spots so nobody parks to close all three mirrors up

Aw heck.....I took the boys out for an overnight camp yesterday and found myself wanting them flipped up because of the better field of view over having them down. I feel like a woman who cant make up their mind.

That's the beautiful thing about them... You can flip them up or down whenever you want.

This would be even more true if they were powered..... I guess I'll be looking into some power units.

Attitude.

If a pickup blows smoke, lifted more than 8", has tires that extends beyond the fenders with no mud flaps, bumpers off of a tank, etc., then it is almost mandatory to leave the mirrors out.
