starter problem

how hard is it to change starter brushes in my 01 and who has em?
I guess thats what the problem is it clicks 2-5 times before it startes

Larry B is the man for starters, he sells new contacts and other stuff for them

never had to mess with one myself but it cant be to hard

You starter is going out, on mine , my starter went out to for me it was easy to get to but I had to use metric sockets to get it off if you have that and a strong arm it's pretty easy to do . I got mine at autozone but i've seen beefed up ones in the summit racing catalog.

Thanks guys,I found some rebuild kits with heavy duty contacts with the new plunger for 19.00+2.00 shipping. Ill try that,ive had starters off before but never had one of these apart.
