Embarrasing oil leak

After changing the oil cooler gaskets 2x it is no l onger leaking oil from the side of the block. it NOW leaks elswhere and is a mystery. I crawled under it again today and the blowbye tube ( comming from the front cover in front of the vp) is the prime suspect. The oil is actually dripping off my oil pan right infront of the bell housing, but the entire undercarage is wet. I dried it all off went down the road came back and it was already on the track bars/ oil pan/ compressor.

Has anybody extened their blowby tube down further? Any other prime places for oil to leak? how much blowby is required to be worried.?

if it leaks that bad something else is wrong. i extended my puk tube and it hangs down behind the front rearend. the vacum pumps on those trucks are known to leak you might check there.

Sounds alot like my truck.....I looked today and noticed that whatever it is has been going on for a long time as it is caked underneath the truck. I checked the oil again today and no change from last week when I checked it at the dealership....but in my experiences from being a truck driver.....diesels leak.

Mine is the same way ... No clue to where it is exactly comming from. When parked, it will leave litterally a drip or two, and marks its location.

But my front chassis is covered ... I honestly think a lot of it comes from the vent tube, and just ends up everywhere

Wow ... let me totally re-phrase that.

No ... My truck is NOT dirty. I wipe the chassis off actually, honestly I do.

This year I am going to take a re-paint the whole chassis!

The 12 valves do not have a breather like the 24 valves the main place that they leak from is the front cover from the dowel pin.
