When I used to keep track I got the best 5x5 and keeping my foot out of it. I had 33" nitto terra grapplers with a 3.73 rear end and would get 18.2-18.3 on the freeway. City was 14 and up depending on the mix.

I run mine at 5x5. I run mostly highway to work, some city. Summer mileage is 21 to 22, winter is 17 to 18. Of course, this also means keeping my foot out of it. I have 3.55 gears in both axles.

My 315's with 3.55's, i can get 24-25 at 50mph. Turning just under 1200rpms. Mods in sig. I have a ownership average of just over 19, that includes towing, which fortunatly, here in DE, isnt very far that often
