Cooper Discoverer ATR

I just got a set of Cooper Discoverer ATRs. Load Range E, 235/85/R16
I don't do any "recreational" off roading, but I wanted a tread that would do well off road for use on our property in east Texas. So far I like them, but I haven't given them a good test on the property yet...

These Coopers have a similar tread design as the Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts, but were not as expensive.

295/75R17 Cooper Discoverer STT's love them so far. 20k on them still 75% tread left. I run the fronts at 60psi and the rears at 45psi rotate every other oil change.

285/75/16 Goodyear Duratrac's......new line of tire this year. It's a cross between a mud terrain and an all-terrain. Even come pre-drilled for studs if that interests you. They do have a little noise you can barely hear over the cummins.

I run 35x12.50x17 cooper stt They do well on highway but ain't worth crap in mud. I too am running 3rd gen. rims. One thing I learned is the offset isn't as much as my factory rims which causes me to rub when I turn sharp. When I was running the 16's I ran same size tire but buckshots. They were great offroad but you'll only get 25K out of them if your lucky.
