Electrical Issue
I am asking this for a friend of mine. He has an 01 Cummins, auto. When he turns his key to wait for the "wait to start" light to go off it will blow a fuse every couple of days. The dash lights and the corner lights will stop working. Anyone seen this, I thought maybe an ignition switch. I had a dakota that had similar symptoms and that ended up taking car of it. Thanks

does it only happen on cold mornings, what if you only try to start it when its above 65 deg? at this point i'm thinking somethings up with the grid heater circuit. helps to know where you are and what kind of temps your trying to start it up at.
