Trackbar/steering upgrade info

I just installed my 3rd generation Carli track bar and the solid steel biz trackbar bracket. As well as a set of dual bilstein steering stabalizers. And they are working awesome....But I ran into some problems i thought id share with anybody else thinging about doing this. First of all the instructions for the solid steel bracket for the 3rd gen trackbar was a PITA to understand. And i had to drill out a hole in my crossmember. Then the bolts position was almost impossible to get to to torque it. Once i got all that figured out it went fairly good. But that was after a few good minutes of swearing up a storm.

Now installing the skyjacker dual bilstein steering stabalizers was even more of a PITA. The instructions were SO BAD, i had to go off pictures on topguncustomz website. And they sent me 4 of the same bolts when i needed 2 different sets of bolts to mount it up. So i had to go without my truck for the day and wait till the next day to run up to the store and buy 2 new bolts. Also i had to stack some washers on 2 of the u-bolts because they were too big for my tie-rod. It just seemed like they threw together a really nice kit and half it.

But now its all finished they work awesome compared to the stock trackbar and steering stabalizer. I do recommend doing this upgrade to anyone who wants a solid front end. And not to forget i also have the BD steering box brace for the steering box (which also helped out alot on highway speeds).

sign up at photobucket, its free. download your pic there, then when you move your mouse over the image a pop-up box shows up click on the IMG (last on the list) right clik and copy.

paste it to your message on this site and volia, your picture magically appears here.
I had the same issue posting pic's here. the photobucket thing works awesome!

photobucket gives a bandwidth restriction so at some point we all get to stare at a pic saying you need to upgrade your photobucket account. if its not high rez there are a few sites like tinypic that will keep the photo as long as its not posted anonymously. and no bandwidth restriction.
