With this poping and cracking sound coming from mine i'm pretty sure it is coming from the steering box so i was wondering if you guys knew if the 1 ton steering box is more heavier duty than the half ton steering box and if so could i put one on mine.

Most of the time its going to be your front end. Mine did it twice first time my track bar was bad replaced it it whent away second time i had to replace another bushing then it whent away these dodges dont have the best front ends i would do a walk through of your front end...

I have to replace everything. But the popping noise is inside the cab in the column.

I use to have something similar to what your describing.. the intermediate steering shaft was replaced, and away it went.. I was physically able to feel it in my fingers as I turned the steering wheel, and maybe just a subtle 'click' noise (a rusted knuckle)...I dont know if thats along the lines of what you're experiencing or not.
