2500 Auto's had DANA 70's, Manual 2500's got the dana 80.. I believe anyway, I know i have the D80 on my '01 2500 6sp I believe this conversion will work on all trucks with outer mounted rotors

I'm curious now.... is there a place to go and find out what axles were on what models and years of trucks?? Or is there too much production indifference?

All 4x4's had the Dana 60 front.

Automatic 2500's have Dana 70 rear, Manual 2500's have Dana 80s, and all 3500's have Dana 80s.

This is for 94-02 Models, after that I believe they went to AAM axles.

For the OP how many miles on the brake before replacement???

Surely you have a tough time catching me... 150K miles and still running on factory brake pads!

I might change brake pads by 200K miles...

Exhaust brakes are really handy!
