I just picked up the CTD in my sig last week. I got a little paranoid and after finding this site immediatley ordered a AD100. The truck had 174k miles on it and was a trade in at an Acura dealership (of all places) and was super clean, with new tires. It has every option I would have ordered from the factory back in 2002. I dont think they really had a market for 1 ton trucks and I got it for $8100.00

I sold my 97 PSD crew cab during the summer gas crunch last year and bought a fuel mizing Toyota yaris thats gets 42 mpg. I miss my truck and thought Id give a CTD a try. I sould have converted a long time ago. At 43 years of age Im not concerned about bombing or rollin coal. I just want longevity and being able to listen to that sweet engine.

I better stop looking. I just saw a 2001 5 speed 3500 SLT w/ 79k on the Dallas craigslist for $11,000. I think its a little high, heck, its real high, but the miles are great.

BTW, I have no interest or connection with this information.

Well I after going crazy looking at 1-tons, ¾ tons, PSD’s, CTD’s, autos, sticks, buying a 1999 quad cab dually CTD and finding out the dealer lied to me about it being a 53 block…..well you guys get the picture, I finally bought a keeper (I hope).
It’s a 2001 2500 quad cab CTD with a stick. I would rate the outside a 7 out of 10 but the inside is about a 5 out of 10. It’s not really destroyed but was used to haul horses and hay and stinks like nothing I ever smelled in a vehicle. The leather seats are shot and the carpet ain’t much better. That’s ok because It’s the tan color interior and I want the dark gray so I’ll just re-do the whole inside. I only paid $8600.00 for it which around here is a steal because you just can’t find a CTD with a stick. Oh, and it’s got 144,000 on it too.

Ouch! The picture looks like the truck was pretty bad. I had a couple "Sleep Driving" experiences but I won them all. I definately don't drive tired anymore though.

How much for the tank and pump ship to Calais Maine

You still have a nice truck though. Mine is also power eveything and It came with a Reese 15K 5th Wheel, goose neck hitch, (both of which are held into the truck with a huge steel plate with a light bar and wiring harness for the trailer and trailer brakes) and a 105 gallon fuel tank that has its own pump and filter. By the way if anyone wants that stuff I am selling it but not sure how much yet. I need to post it on here with some pics but I'm too lazy!

just bought a 98.5 reg cab 24 valve, 135,000 miles, front end leveled, fass fuel system, MBRP 4" TBE, diablosport powerpuck, 150 hp injectors, and the only fault that i knowed of when i bought it was a cracked dash. after a little reading i now know i have a 53 block but im not worried about it. paid $9,900. and i am as happy as a kid in a candy store

Well F! I got screwed... got my truck a year and a half ago and paid $16k for it. Since then front hubs, ball joints, track bar, tie rods, tires, clutch, stereo, steering stabilizer..... and I still have the stock lp in there. So hopefully when I get the money for an air dog my truck will love me forever!
