how do I get wires into the overhead console?

I've seen some people on here that have switches installed on the overhead console. I was wondering how people got the wires up through the roof without tearing everything up??

take the headliner down. to get anything up there. gotta pretty much remove both a pillar covers, th erear c pillar covers the console itself and then the headliner will drop.

Just to install switches, can't you just run them under the trim that holds the headliner up and down the pillar to the fuse panel.

bbraden,

I put switches in my overhead. I went from the floor behind the firewall, through and past the fuse panel, up to the A pillar next to the windshield, across the headliner (remove the visor and the headliner drops enough), to the center overhead console (I removed this also). I used some lightweight wire since I was only powering relays with the switches.
