I have been trying to remove my silencer from my HX-35 trubo and I can't seem to get my driver in that grove. Any help would be great! Thanks

Honestly, and I mean no offense at all, I think you're just scared.

Don't worrk, your not going to screw anything up. Use a small skinny screwdriver and start at the ring right at the split. Once you manage to get under it, lift it over the edge and work it out.

Hang on .. leme look for a link for ya ...

Well I used a flat head screwdriver, and was carefull not to scrape any materials off the turbo. I sliped my screwdriver under where the silencer ring clip sticks out a little bit where I marked in picture. The end of the clip came out the I move a inch around the clip poped that off the it came right out. Hope this helps

On my silencer ring, one end of the split ring the holds it in was cut square, the other end was cut at an angle. If yours is that way, get a standard screwdriver with a tip no wider than the split ring. Work it under the end of the ring that is cut at an angle. By "work it under" I mean slight right to left twist with pressure. The tip will wedge itself right under there and work the ring out of the retainer.
