Exclamation

well besides bigblue's adjusting...i have come across a better way to reset apps than disconnecting the batts and waiting over half an hour...with the batts hooked up, turn the key to ON, then depress the skinny pedal for longer than 10 seconds and less than 15...then release, and do it once more...then immediately fire up the truck never turning the key off...i have found this procedure much more effective, especially for my erratic apps problems, and this you can do this at a gas station, or on the side of the road.

It's pretty straight forward pull the plastic cover off, pull the 3 bolts that hold the assembly to the head, unplug the connector, disconect the cables............

The 06 does not have one.

I adjusted the one in my 03 even though there is a sticker on it saying not to. I didn't have the voltmeter though. I just loosened the bolts and turned it. It made a big difference but you have to be sure to go through the APPS reset procedure or you may end up with a dead pedal. I did.....

yep threw tons of codes...just driving the pedal goes dead, then having to pump it twice to get it back...at all kinds of rpms...what a pain in the , also the tach shooting around...and yep theres the sensor, which is connected to the bracket...but they come aprt, so maybe you got a steal on a sensor???

I didn't get that on mine. Once my buddy gets here I'm gonna try it on his and see how it works on his truck.

BigBlue thanks for the fix. When I checked mine it was .375 V and it kept killing on me for the longest time. This is until I read the fix on them. The back of the apps needed .524. I got it dialed in to .519 and it runs the way it should after 3 days already
Thanks again
