well besides bigblue's adjusting...i have come across a better way to reset apps than disconnecting the batts and waiting over half an hour...with the batts hooked up, turn the key to ON, then depress the skinny pedal for longer than 10 seconds and less than 15...then release, and do it once more...then immediately fire up the truck never turning the key off...i have found this procedure much more effective, especially for my erratic apps problems, and this you can do this at a gas station, or on the side of the road. :thumbsup

The 06 does not have one. I adjusted the one in my 03 even though there is a sticker on it saying not to. I didn't have the voltmeter though. I just loosened the bolts and turned it. It made a big difference but you have to be sure to go through the APPS reset procedure or you may end up with a dead pedal. I did.....

just changed her AND ALL MY WORRIES ARE GONE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahh how nice it is to be on catcher 9 and not have to either romp on her to get her over 2000 rpms or lag her under 1500 rpms(itd killout 1500-2000)...smoking out the intersections doing both.....i am a happy man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol and install is easy...if i had more time id do a right up...just one thing...now my truck idles at like 975 rpms, 'stead of 800 or so?

yep threw tons of codes...just driving the pedal goes dead, then having to pump it twice to get it back...at all kinds of rpms...what a pain in the ![]() ![]() , also the tach shooting around...and yep theres the sensor, which is connected to the bracket...but they come aprt, so maybe you got a steal on a sensor???

BigBlue thanks for the fix. When I checked mine it was .375 V and it kept killing on me for the longest time. This is until I read the fix on them. The back of the apps needed .524. I got it dialed in to .519 and it runs the way it should after 3 days already Thanks again :thumbsup Steve
