jacobs ebrake, brake controller from 2000
jacobs exhaust brake off my 2000. it was dealer installed when truck was new. it is complete and was in good working order. this has a lighted rocker switch to activate brake. $500.00 shipped tekonsha brake controller with wiring harness. i checked a website and it lists it as covering years 94-08. it also came off of my 2000. $45.00 shipped you can either pm me on here or call my cell (610) 972-7415 i would consider trades +/- cash for pulling parts/turbos/p-pumped 24v stuff, or 3rd gen 5.9 stuff such as, gn hitch, exhaust brake, mopar accessories etc...etc...

does the brake controller plug in? or do you have to splice into factory harness somewhere?

Yes I loved mine. I just got an 07 last week and I will be putting one on there too. It's not noisy at all. Just king of a wooshing noise. If you have a muffler you will hardly hear it. You could leave it on all the time or turn it on manually with the switch. It's up to you. Remember: these only fit factory turbos. And are only for stick shifts. Also I do not have instructions. You will need to find them on the web or go to a dodge dealer and have them print some install instructions for you. Thanks

awsome thanks, I was hoping for it to be noisy (on the outside) like you hear it coming type of deal. i tow alot and it helps save brakes...got a stick so fine there but thinkin of upgrading turbo so may be problem there. Does it mount after turbo before down pipe or in the exhaust it self when it levels off?? And its from jacob right?? or is it a dodge part??

It mounts in place of the cast elbow on the back side of the turbo before the downpipe. Yes it is an actual "Jacobs". It says it right on it. If you were to order your truck with an exhaust brake dodge/cummins puts on a Jacobs.
