It don't matter why he is running the truck all day. Thats not the question. If you were a Pipeliner, then you would know that there is a many of people who sit in there truck all day a watch and supervise or get out and work and move on to the next joint of pipe....Its part of the job...

Now back to the question...I agree with the rest of them. Get the delete kit. It's goin to mess up your warranty, but you for sure won't have problems with that if its gone. I know a few inspectors on my job, that I have told about the delete kits for their trucks.
