power windows all the time - NC

Incase any of you want to be able to use your windows with the key off , make a jumper wire to run from the power seat hot terminal , over to the power window fuse (my truck does not have the power seats) the seats are power all the time. Make sure you run the jumper to the supply side of the window fuse , not the load side , so the power is still fused.

You'll wonder how you ever lived without it. Takes 5 minutes tops.

On my truck with power seats I removed the window breaker entirely and jumped from the load side of the seat fuse to the load side of the window fuse. Both the windows and seat are now powered though the same fuse.
Just a 2" jumper with a crimp on spade terminal on one end a a little insulation striped off the other is all you need. Stuff the striped end in female fuse holder then insert the fuse, spade goes on the load side where the window fuse used to be.

Y'all are some geniuses, let me tell you. Quick and easy modification but I never would have thought about it. Just another thing to add to my "to do" list!

Ooh, I didn't notice that. Don't see why not?? I'll try to get around to it by Sunday evening, and if nobody else has replied I'll let you know.

Pull the fuse and use a test light or multimeter
