Question torque convertor

My torque is slipping can i just install a performance convertor and this will fix the problem or will the tranny have to be overhauled the truck has about 300,000 km on it.

You can do that, but its kinda a bandaid for whats to come, you might just get away with a seal kit and converter, you should also do some pump mods too. I really like the TransGo kits for the Fords, it might work for you.

Suncoast also sells the Transgo kits. But I think a VB upgrade along with the convertor would be a better route myself.

You could go with just the Trans-go shift kit and the convertor I guess. Not really something I would do or recommend as the Valve bodies do alot more to help with fluid flow thru out the trans. vs. the stock VB.

With 300,000 KM on the clock I would probably go thru the tranny. The input shaft probably has stress fractures on it also.
