2wd or 4wd Trans?
I know this may sound like a stupid question since my truck is a 2wd but I'm going to ask it anyway. I am only unsure about this since my 94 came equipped from the factory with the PTO option. Since it has a PTO, the trans appears to interface with it in the same way a truck would with a transfer case. I would imagine that it probably even has the same length rear driveshaft of a 4wd truck that is also reg cab and long box. Even the "shifter" for the PTO looks the same as one for the transfer case on my Dad's 97 4wd. I am wondering this since I am considering changing my truck over to 4wd. Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to shed some light on this for me. |
