bellhousing is different on the gas trans that the diesel one.

The early CTD's had 727's behind them from the factory. My buddy has 320,000 miles on his '91 and it's great. But most of the 727 equiped trucks had 3.07 gears. He's running 35" rubber and it's a good combo. You'll just have to fine a 727 case that was originally from a cummins truck.

it already has 35" tires on it so finding the adapter and or a 727 diesel tranny is my issue
