HELP!! Trying To Find Water Temp Sensor, 94 Cummins B-Series

I am changing my temp sensor since I am getting false reads.

In the pic below, I thought the temp sensor is what I circled in red. But I disconnected the wire when the engine was running, to see if the gauge would not register. But when I disconnected the wire the temp gauge stayed the same. So I am guessing this is not the temp sensor.

Its on the dvr side rear of the head, pita.

I just have a bolt on the rear of the head shown in the diagram. I think I will put the sender there.

Anyone know the NTP of the threads of that hole????
