You will probably need a driveshaft from a ton truck with an automatic (different lengths), PCM (no automatic shifter is built into a 5 speed pcm), some extra wiring (lacking in the 5 speed for the automatic) , and a steering column. There may be more but at least this much is needed for this swap. The 5 speed 3/4 tons came with a dana 80. The 3/4 ton automatics came with a dana 70. All ton trucks came with a dana 80. Since the dana 80 has a thicker middle your driveshaft probably will not be the same length as the automatic version. Measuring would let you know for sure.
Thanks for the info alot of help. And its in a 3500 dually so has the 80 in it. There is a place near me that can make drive shafts so I plan to get a custom one made
Add heat exchanger and tranny cooler to your list. Is it 4x4? Then t-case is different, also maybe cross member. Gates Oregon? 6 states do a good job on drivelines
