When I purchased my 1997 3500; DRW;CTD; 4x4; C&C, it was to be used in the family towing business. I went driving OTR shortly after it arrived (special ordered). I drive it every chance I get, but it just turned 36,000 miles.

The original tires dry-rotted & I replaced them 2 years ago, & the windshield cracked from sitting in the heat. The combination of sun & tree sap has just about destroyed the paint.

It is bone stock, except for a K&N filter in the stock box & I just ordered a 4" exhaust for it.

Our farm truck is a '95, bought brand new it only has 86,000 or so. Still funning strong, fuel is turned to er. The only time it is unhooked from our hay trailer (36') is to hook to our stock trailer (32')..... and oil changes, new tires, etc. Just needs a new clutch now.

I just bought an 89 2wd auto with 600k. Everything origional, all stock. Engine never touched except routine maint, trans just serviced, front end rebuilt. Paid 950.00 after it sat for sale for 2 months. Guess poeple were afriad of the milage. Runs strong. Its sitting in the barn now waiting for some licht body work and a paint job. I'm putting in a full set of gauges.
