mines a 91 and i just rolled over 200,000 with no rebuild

How far?

95' standard.
3 track bars
4 starters
3 altenator's
1 fuel pump
a couple brake jobs
just lately a new clutch.
leaks a bit of oil at the bottom end.
Many fill ups
Thats about all so far.

640,000 kms. (400,000)mi.

99 with 154,000 bought it with 87,000 to my knowledg nothing done to the moter im still upgrading all stock partsruns great

my buddy just bought there 4th cummins its a 97 4x4 ext. cab it has an auto though but it only has 47000 miles. its bone stock a 80 year old man had it.

my 02 has got like 78k and the 92 that was my donor rig for my trailduster has 199518 miles on it when i took her apart

My truck is about to turn 228,000 miles. She's on her third tranny though, that TC lock up can be too much fun!

Ok so now let me ask why are we surprised when someone gets 400,000 miles out of their cummins? To me this is still half life for a good diesel!

Why are we all so surprised at getting 300k miles out of our engines. If a diesel doesn't get that kind of mileage if looked after something is wrong.
