dodge and ford dana 80 axles interchange

Hey guys I have been looking around and couldn't get a forsure answer but I was wondering if a axles shaft out of a dana 80 from a ford will fit into a dana 80 from dodge. The axle I need is from a regular dually so if you have any input I would greatly appreciate it

Thanks

I have read where shafts are defined by how many teeth are on the end that goes into the pumpkin. If the teeth are different then they will not fit. If the teeth are the same count it is time to measure and see if they are the same.

wish I could answer you, guess you will need to pull your axle and measure it, count the splines and shaft diameater. Maybe you can search the dana webs ite, or currie or someone like that. Here is some info from yukon gear, just differentials and east coast gear. Good Luck, that was a 5 minute or less internet search.
