12v MPG

so i have a 95 2500 cummins with 3.55 gears and a k&n air filter (drop in). their is no mods done to this truck, but i think someone has played wit the star wheel. im not a heavy foot driver i just recently put 150 miles on my truck city and highway mixed and i only got 10.23 mpg. the highest i ever got was 12 even all highway. can their be a major problem with my truck?

it wont affect the readings at all of the gauge. I use a rubber end cap then put a tire stem through the middle of it so i can pressurize the system with an air compressor. I have found leaks in so many small places that i would never have found.

As said above, check your timing. Also the injectors might be due for replacement based on the miles. If its an auto, they don't due the greatest. Get a lower stall tc and shift kit, that will help a bit.
