94-98 PowertrainDiscussion of components that are directly involved in the power production and all that is needed to get and keep the truck moving . Engine , Transmission Ect...NO ADVERTISING
any ideas? it only stays into 3rd, when i swapped out the overdrive unit the speed sens was broken so i took the one out of my 2wd unit and threw it in. could that be the problems?
Man I'm in the same boat...and I've changed my tps my tc lockup and od sloenoid and the gov pressure sensor, tried a mystery switch cleaned my grounds, and all I'm still stumped except when I lost od my wait to start light came on and doesn't shut off now...

i would hate to say if that didnt help me but i dont quite understand it when they all end in the middle of the pocedure. my tps is banged up pretty bad so im thinking of getting a new one...little little plastic back fell off and the insides came out i tried to put it back together but im not sure how well i did

have you tried the output speed sensor on the overdrive unit i herd that helped some people that will be my next try after tps
