kdp fix????

I have a 93 and a 98 12v. Is the kdp a problem in bothof them? How has the best kit to fix problem? Is it possible to make your own if so what are the gaskets i need for each truck thanks for the help this forum is great!!!!!!!!!

Yes both truck have the kdp problem. You can make your own tab if you want. Tabbing the kdp is the best way. This way you can put locktite on all the bolt and torque them back down. You will need a new front crank seal and a timing case gasket. If you want can also make your own gasket for the timing case with rtv gasket maker.

Here ya go; Ram Diesel KDP retainer

'96 2500, CTD, 4X4 flatbed, Isspro gauges, Skyjacker D-25's, ThurenFab track bar, DSS, HD steering.
Motor; BHAF, #100 fuel plate, 5X.012 90hp injectors, Pacbrake 4kGSK, Loose starwheel. 306hp/743tq before injectors.
Exhaust; Schwitzer S300G, 4" downpipe, single 5" turnout stack.
Trans; Dunrite VB/TC, Intelligent Engineering billet input shaft, Burt Brown rebuild/upgrade.

Do a search on TST Products they make a KDP kit & it has everything you need , I think it is around $50 .

97 - 2500 club cab 8ft box , 2 wheel drive auto trans 4:10 rear end , BHAF,heat shield & Transtar single disk TC, Autometer boost, pyro ,trans temp guages , #5 TST fuel plate moved forward , boost elbow , AFE 4" stainless turbo back exhaust

yea the TST kits are 50 i just did one on mine. they use silicone rather than a gasket. the use ppermatex Ultra Grey. i actually prefer silicone over the gaskets but thats just me
