Transmission Build up

i know they're probably a million other threads about this but i want to make sure im absolutely clear.

basically i need to know what all i need to do to my trans to make sure itll hold the power i want no problem, its currently all stock as far as i know (i figure its safer to assume it is so i dont get stupid with it)

But what i want to do is do a few mods to my motor for a bit more driveability, MPG, and light towing (mainly old jeeps and other mud toys on the weekends)
what i want for the motor:

50 or 75hp DDP injectors
B.H.A.F.
3K GSK
New headers (to replace leaking factory ones)
Cool Covers
Fuel Plate (maybe)
5" exhaust and gauges for boost, trans temp, Fuel pressure, and oil pressure.

sorry its so long but i really want to make sure i get it right since my truck is my living, whaat all should i do to the trans to reliably take this power without worry?

sun coast transmissions, raptor transmissions, can be helpful in this area. if you fail to beef up trans the right way it will be toast in no time. raptor trans has mild to insane upgrades.

Valve body, billet Input shaft, triple disc converter, billet servo, strut, apply lever, accumulator piston should get you a good start, add a deep pan, billet Flexplate, and billet output if your planning on drag racing.

Well you dont need most of the above post unless your going for some bigger power numbers and racing all the time. Just adding the injectors or fuel plate is gonna put your trans at risk. The bare minimum is a billet single disc tc and shift kit or valve body, that will hold a good 350 maybe a little more. What are your power goals, any future big plans that all comes into play as well as how deep your pockets are.

Agree, if your only gonna make 350-400 put a good single disc converter, valve body, servo cover, and billet apply lever in it and call it a day. Most trans built like this end up to broken though because few ppl stop at 350-400HP.

So I've done some mods that have me around 250hp, could I get away with just a shift kit? Do you guys know of a upraded TQ that doesn't run $1000? Basically something better than stock but not Billet.
Thanks

You can get a good billet simgle.disc.for around $500, seems like good insurance to me instead of buying cheaper and destroying it and taking the rest of the trans with it. You gotta pay to ay man. It's taken me 2yrs to get where I'm at now and still need to upgrade more

Recon makes a single in the 500 range, It took my dad 2yrs to destroy the lockup clutches in a Recon single in his 24v with around 400HP.

Not really planning on going over 350 by any means, i basically live out of this truck, its my DD my work, hell its been my house for awhile at times!
all i really want is a little more driveability out of it cause 2000 rpm's of sluggishness isnt all that fun, especially pullin an old cherokee on 44's around town.

thanks for the advice though, i just didnt know if id be better off babying this tranny until i could spring for a brand new built one from ATS or suncoast for what i need it to do

I have a beefy boy from bryan converter in Bryan, Ohio that cost me 450 no core or 400 with core. I ran 425 hp and beat the crap out of it and have never had issues with it. Billet cover and single disk. Highly recommended

On a slightly less related note, one of my front driveshaft bolts just decided it was time to snap, so i took the entire shaft off for now, where can i get good solid replacement bolts at?
