12 valve help asap

Truck has been starting fine, get in now and it does nothing. Gauges, etc, all come on. Turn the key and it doesn't even click. First time it did it just kept messing with it and it started. Second time it did it had to roll start it. Any ideas??

I'll have to check for him tomorrow. It's his first diesel and he's not too mechanically inclined to them yet.

Is the solenoid mounted on the starter on these trucks or do they have a separate one on fender?

starter solenoid is mounted on the starter but i normally just replace the whole starter with a NAPA one, they have a lifetime warranty. the fuel shutoff solenoid is located by the afc....

Yeah fuel shut off I know, just wasn't sure about starter. I'm not sure if you can just buy a new solenoid or not. The truck does have 330,xxx miles on it though. Not sure how old starter is.

They must have went up. I'm not sure what else it would be. Maybe loose connection or clutch safety switch.. Or I read something about heater temp sensor under the battery? Whatever that is.
