Truck wont go into gear

I bought a 96 cummins 5 speed 3 days ago and now when i start it up in neutral and try 2 put it into gear it wont go. I have 2 shut the truck off and start it in gear and when it starts it wants 2 pull. When u push in the clutch it it still pulls a lil. I put a new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder on it and bleed all the air out of the line.. still have the same problem. The truck used to be a auto and it got converted into a 5 speed NV4500. The guy i bought it off of said it uses the slave and clutch master out of a 98 truck. It is very hard 2 get into gear after your moving and it don't want 2 down shift easy at all. Any ideas on what it could be??? Thanks for your time!

either the clutch or pressure plate have failed. maybe both. make sure everything is together correctly and the slave and master cylinder are working correctly, and if everything is...then it's time for a new clutch. good luck and let us know what you find.

I took the trany out and the clutch blew apart. Most of the springs were falling out and the whole thing came apart when i got it out. I put a single disk Ceramic/Kevlar clutch in it from Valair Clutch Inc. and That fixed the prob. Thanks for the help!
