99 4x4 trans in a 97 4x4?

I just got my 1997 3500 4x4 and was looking at getting the auto trans rebuilt. I just came accross a 1999 4x4 trans that is a fresh rebuild for sale. [B]Will the 1999 4x4 transmission fit in my 1997 4x4?[B]
Would I have to modify anything?

I am new at the Dodge thing, just came over from the "dark side" from a Ford Superduty.
