OD TC lock up TPS potentiometer???

Ok lets hear what you guys are usin. I'm with a few other guy, in that when its to the boards the truck wont shift outta 3 into 4/od till its super slow and really revved. How do ya fix that? Potentiometer? Where? How? For what trannies? How bout manual contol of TC lockup? How do ya do that? I heard the later tranny has some other lockup solenoid for the TC. How do ya trick that too. When did they switch into the newer trannies? The RE versus the RH i think. What is the differnces in these two? I want control of when i hits OD and when it locks. Cuz the differnce is, slow from 55. Or lockup and i'm off like a shot!!

47RH Manual Torque Convertor Lock-up switch - NC

This will lock your tc at the flip of a switch. You can even leave it locked between shifts but it is hard on the tranny. This is also a must for an exhaust brake.:thumbsup

I don't know if you can access this thread on the TDR or not. It has a long discussion of the whole thing includeing how to do it and what the results are:
TPS myth buster - TDR Roundtable

If you can't access it let me know and I'll try to get the info for you.
