The TPS uses a low-voltage DC signal. Such circuits are very susceptible to RF noise and interference. Ideally, the wire carrying the TPS signal to the PCM would be shielded, but you would have to either tear the wire out of the harness or run a new one if you wanted to shield it. I tried the method of installing a capacitor in the circuit. I'll have to look for the link, but it described using a 440uF capacitor. I used a 470uF as that is what I happened to have on hand. I soldered it into the circuit and haven't had any issues since. I'll look for that link and post it in the thread (if I can find it again).

My TC locks and unlocks real bad when its cold outside. I guess it needs to be adjusted. But I'm not sure how to adjust it.

Could be a bad tranny temp sensor.

On the RH tranny it's easy, you just trick the computer with a 1000 ohm resistor in place of the the sensor.
What makes the RH easy is the stock sensor is external, you just unplug the sender and short beween the connector wires with the resistor.
On a RE tranny, '96 and up, the sensor is internal to the trans.
You would have to find which two wires go to the sensor, cut them and install the resistor.
Not really all that much harder but I don't know which wire colors you would need to cut.
