could be your throwout.
that noise will vary as you engage the clutch and increase rpms.
does the noise change when you engage or disengage the clutch peddle not so much when you shift but the actual peddle?
if you do replace the throwout its always a good idea to throw in a new pilot bearing as well. there cheap and easy to put.

can you make the squeak happen everytime? if you can try making it happen and push slightly on the clutch pedal. if it wont do it while u have slight pressure on the pedal its most likely the throwout. If it still does it it could be the pilot bearing or you could have lost a spring off the clutch and its causeing a light vibration in the clutch disk.

most likely its the throwout.
