What would one do if they wanted to make sure their impeller fins where removed and put on incorrectly?
And, what should be done to properly balance them?
I'm only asking about if someone where to take the impeller wheel off and have not marked it... then reinstalled it without knowing the original placement.
Is this something I have to worry about?
can't say 100% but I believe that the wheel itself is balanced. They are not balanced to the shaft. Therefore it wouldn't matter. Like I said though, not 100% but I recall reading about this in an article for cummins turbo rebuilds/maintenance.
What is this mark for?
Said, "marked the nut to the shaft."
