A freind just bought a Dodge dually diesel and will mainly be used for hauling a horse trailer this spring. She is needing to know what she needs to do when not driving it this winter. Truck will be parked in the driveway. Does she need to drive it ever so often or just let it set until she needs it?

i would start it periodically to keep the batteries charged

keep an eye on belt and hoses so they dont dry rot, could keep a thin mist of oil or something like that to keep them lubricated

I agree

Start it and run it for a little bit about twice a month is good and you might want to put a fuel additive in so your fuel doesn't gel.
