Took my truck to a local mechanic, he replaced my vacuum pump gaskets, i had no trouble with it, no leaking at all for probably a month, now somethings leaking again and seems to be leaking from the same area. Anyone heard of the gasket's giving way that fast?? Thanks
Sure it wasn't the seal he replaced?
There is a vacuum pump seal and o-ring that should be replaced at the same time.
Sometimes if the old o-ring is reused it will start leaking again shortly.
Blowby is crankcase ventilation from the large tube that ends near your starter.
