just recently put a new head gasket on in my truck. 1994. when i did the head gasket i installed a new thermostat and housing gasket. ever since while driving down the road the temp gauge will rise all the way over 190 then suddenly pop and fall back down to almost 140! any ideas what it could be?
so this is normal? bc it does it over and over. and it never did this before. just kinda hung in the 180 range. now like i said itll go up prob around 200 then fall way down to like 150 ish. im just worried bout cookin my motor. i got to much invested in it to burn it up now lol
