i wanna get my back drums off to put new brakes on my truck but they wont come off..ive beat them with a sledge and every thing..any special way they come off..any secrets
Put rear axle up on jack stands. Remove tires, start truck and get up to maybe 15mph then mash the brakes. If that doesn't get it loose then move up to 30mph. Works every time.
I agree, I have done this before- but- make sure you put a couple of lug nuts back on loosely after removing the tires, bad things could happen if you don't.
