AH thank you ykdave haha I wanna go with the bmk21 but I cant find any info on if we need some kind of adapter or anything? Tried to call amsoil but nogo till mon. Or maybe one of you guys can give me another option from experience? or some tips
You can build your own bypass system for much less. Go down to pretty much any parts store (napa is usually pretty good for this kind of thing) and pick yourself up a filter head and spin on filter. Rip on over to a hydraulics shop and have them whip up some hoses for you (or order them online)

so the oil supply is gonna be from the oil pressure sending unit (right?) I'll t off of that for the supply to the bypass, then return it to the oil filler cap (I might get one of them fancy caps that's threaded) lol
ontop of the oil filer adaprter their are 2 ports. one is used for oil feed to the turbo, the other is un-used and plugged.
Short of buying a fancy spin on filter adapter, you can steal oil from this un-used port. Just keep in mind that it is advisable to use an orifice fitting if you do go this route, as you dont want all of your oil bypassing to the filter!
the rocker covers are cast aluminum, you could pull one off and drill/tap it for a fitting to use for return oil

? any suggestions on what size the orfice should be? Wait I can call amsoil on monday and ask them what size the orfice is, haha. which valve cover should I use ? I'm thinking the one right in the middle? or for supply (from the bypass) reasons should I go in the back or front or it really doesn't matter.
Theirs an equation thats about the size of your keyboard to figure out flowrate through orifices LOL
Short of spending all day playing gr12 math, i would go with a .125" orifice. That should knock the flow rate down to something a little more reasonable. if your lucky, the adapter fitting that you get to screw into the oil filter housing may already have a small inside diameter.
As for the return, it can dump into any of the covers, it all ends up in the same place, just go with whatever works and looks best as far as hose routing goes.

I'll call amsoil mon. and let everybody know what th3e I.D. of the orifice is supposed to be. Then I will take pics of the install along with what I did.
The Amsoil single bypass filter (BMK-11) restrictor orifice is .032". See my mods page below for my install. I ran the return into the oil filler tube, this way it is out of the way and the flow can been seen if I want. I'm glad I could see the flow because mine was very minimal compared to the same setup I installed on another truck. I found out that they had installed an improperly sized orifice in mine so I drilled it out to match the other unit I installed.
I installed a by-pass system that I found on line, parts from NAPA, cost about $35. For the return I drilled and taped the oil filler for a hose barb. Been in use for about four years now.
