Turbo?

I have no plate, I modded the afc and tuned it. I want to give it more air. I was thinking a turbo of a 24v or common rail? Any ideas?

Well the 24 valve would be useless its the same thing you have already. A CR one is not a bad unit just look for the HE351 not the 341 that came on the early CR. HX40 would be a decent option as well, or if you have the cash the Aroura 3000 from ATS is a pretty good unit.

Thanks, but I though the 24v engines had a different blade in the compresor that spooled faster?

Autos came with the hy35 smaller turbine to spool faster, and yes the hx35 did have a 7 blade compressor vs your 8 blade. The pushed a tiny bit more air, but the 351 does more and it is a 60mm compressor.

I put an he351 from an '05 CR onto mine. It spools quite a bit faster than the hx35 that was on it before, and keeps my EGTs cooler too. When I had my 0 plate in, the EGTs would top out around 1300*. Not a bad turbo. I think I had $500 in the whole setup, but I ordered a factory downpipe from dodge for the '05 to get the flange for my downpipe. Now you can buy the flange yourself.
