i am looking at buying some 024 delivery valves, and a turbo upgrade that makes the hx 35 into a hx40 for my 12v, but i was wondering if these would make my stock torque converter slip even more than it allready does. i was looking around and found this overdrive kit. and was wondering if it would help at all.
Sick of dealing with factory throttle positioning sensor that never works right and cost over $150.00 to replace?
Try one of our overdrive kits that allows you to dial in you're desired overdrive shift point.
You'll never have to let off the pedal again to get it into overdrive.
Takes place of the factory throttle positioning sensor and gives you control of the overdrive shift point.
Symptoms of Poorly Functioning Throttle Positioning Sensor:
- Jumping in and out of overdrive
- No overdrive at all
- Have to let off pedal to let it shift into overdrive
any recommendations on a torque converter that wont cause me to go broke everything i have seen is 1500 or higher. i probably wont do the turbo upgrade but would realy like to get the delivery valves still. thats why i was looking at that overdrive kit.
Maybe keep an eye out for a used one. I've seen some on here that are reasonably priced used. If you go new like Goerend, or DDT your going to have to pay for it but it will benefit you in the long run.
after reading into it i think im just gunna hold off on the delivery valves untill i can afford a new tc, so i think im just going to start adding upgraded parts to my tranny, maybe a deep pan an a shift kit for now
ya you can get a single disk billet dacco for around 400, if you go with the triple you will need a billet flex plate and input shaft, for the OD problem you can always wire up a switch to turn it on and off when you want it engaged, its real simple and i have od and lock-up wire this way on my 95 and it works great, let me know if you want some directions to do it

i actually just had my friend wire up a toggle switch the other day for the lockup and it works good im still just having problems with it down shifting at low rpms, so im gonna have him look at the tps to see whats wrong.

Why do you NEED the billet shaft and plate w/a triple? I have a triple w/stock trans, over kill but I didn't know at the time, have had no problems with it.

I have a DNR pot that I'm gonna wire today, but, recently my tc stall has increased to 2200, so I know it is dying. I cant afford to swap it yet, and I was interested in a toggle for lock-up. If you can save me some research time on what wires to splice into, do I ground it or supply 12v? would really appreciate the info.
