fuel in the oil

well im getting fuel into the oil i belive through the injection pump. my oil was over full i drain it till it at the full mark then turn the key on (dont start it) to run the lift pump (raptor lift pump) and then check the oil agian and it is way over full again. i think because it has that lift pump on it that has more pressure it has pushed out a seal or something.
what do you guys think, has anyone had this problem before and fixed it themselves? any info would be great, thanks

well i did some more searching and found some other people with the same problem, could be a seal or a crack ( i hope not) is there a write up of how to pull the p pump and rebuild it themselves i dont have the money to pay someone to do it. but if its to complicated i might have to. my brother (a diesel mechanic) said he can help me if i get in a pinch but he is really bussy right now.

does it lose prime overnight?

p pump ? as in the fuel transfer pump the bolts to the side of the block. its a 100 dollar part at geno's garage . That mechanical pump is the only place that the fuel could leak into the crankcase. I injection pump and all its lines are external. Thats just my thought ...

I dont think the injectors pass thru a oil journal like the ford motors do....

good luck

I just looked at a exploded pick of the pump to confirm what I thought. There is a seal in the front of the pump that I believe if bown out will leak fuel into the crankcase. If you can get ahold of ykdave or illflem I guarantee one of them could tell you.

The guy at the shop my truck is at "Moonlight Diesel" says there is not a seal behing the gear, that is where the return oil goes into the crank case, so he thinks bad seals and o rings is leaking fuel into the oil that lubricates the pump and is going into the crank case from behind the gear.
I was thinking the same thing you were about that seal, but he tells me differently.
