well its double edge sword, the turbo is good, but one reason for drawback since it is an off the shelf borg warner turbo and their relatively inexpensive(less than 750 bucks) they are not bolt up: for example they use a t4 flange, a 3rd gen style compressor housing and they use an undivided housing, and his is where i believe even tho the housing is a t4- .88a/r its undivided and according to the folks at my diesel shop an undivided housing is much larger than when compared to a t3 divided housing(like our holsets) so the spoolup isnt quite what the stocker was, ive still been playing with my afc housing to this day to hopefully get it dialed in correctly for quicker spoolup, but dam she pulls freakin hard after 1900 rpms, its like a rocket ship, but i can live with it for now and have been in contact with a member here(stangpwr71) who also has the same turbo and he recently purchased a smaller t3 divided housing for it so im waiting on results.
