ok so for the last few weeks i have been haveing this problem with my truck stalling. if the truck is cold and i go to start it up u have to hold the throttle a |\4 down and hold it thait for about a minute or the truck will just shut off. then once it is running if it not up to operating temp and i put it in to drive or revers and dont give it any throttle it will stall. and if its up to operating temp and i go a fare distance and come to a stop it will lope real bad and it will stall after a few minutes of doing that. i have to drive with 2 feet now and i dont know whats going on with it. its a 1994 with 190k. thanks form the help

ok so i just drove it an let it get warm and in drive it was at about 500 rpm s and when it lops it just jurks the truck back and forth but no smoke at all. it idles in nutral at about 700 rpm and then goes down to about 500 rpm. and i changed the fuel filter about 6 months ago. but i dont know how to find fuel presure

Idle is low, once at operating temp idle should be around 750 with truck in gear and AC on. Is it surging back and forth from 500-700 RPM's or does it just drop to 500 and stay there?

ok well i got it to operating temp and put it in gear but my ac pump dont work but it still goes to like 500 rpm .i use to get in the truck and wait for the glow plugs and just turn the key and it would fire up but now i can ture the key all day and it wont start i have to give it some throttle and hold it thair for a minute or it will just die
