about 15-20mm up on the dipstick when i checked. im not sure how long time the level had been so low. The oil that was still in the tranny looked good and smelled ok

but i have filled up to right oil level now and i maybe i have noticed i little jerk between 1st and 2nd gear when i accelerate hard. Im not sure, the jerk could have been there before.

one thing i noticed is when idling, you will here a "scraping" sound underneeth the truck, that will dissappear when give it a little throttle. Maybe from the tranny? The sound has the same tempo as the engine idling, hope you understand

I thought you were supposed to check in neutral and warm... Dave from Goerends told me to check both sides of the dipstick, and then go with the low side. He said that is the most accurate accurate way to measure!

I wouldn't consider it low enough to cause damage until it cannot be picked up on the dipstick. And if it was that low you simply wouldn't move because there would be no fluid flow. I guess you could aerate the pump, which uses the fluid to lubricate itself.

If nothing is wrong why are you worried? Doesn't sound like it was low enough to hurt anything.

Why im worried? am allways worried if someting is wrong. Even if something is just a LITTLE wrong, thats me

But i think everything is ok now, i check the oil level often, and im gonna figure out where the oil is leeking out, the tranny is wet on the bottom

Yeah, I guess if it was my truck it would be on my mind too. IF the fluid was really low it would engage into D or R almost without feeling(no jerk) and you would have to abnormally throttle the engine to even get it to move.
