no, if you slipped it uphill for a mile or whatever then it would get hotter.
i'm sorry to hear of your situation... an extra set of steel/frictions in the clutch pack and the better set of "blue" clutches (i think "red's" are even better?) will not hold much more power without extra pressure from the valve body:fist:
