95 vs 96

hey guys my son has the stock injectors and DVs out of his 96 would they be different from my 95 both trucks are auto ?

A little bit. The '96 injectors have a little bit larger holes in the tip. This results in a small HP increase in the '95. Something like 20HP.

probably not even that much, the 215 injectors are good for about 30 horse increase, so the 180s cant be too much

The 180 pump from the 96 has bigger dv's also.

thanks guys I'm going to put this truck to work full time and want to turn pump up just a little cant stand to much smoke well I guess I should say I love the smoke but my cargo doesnt appreciate it. I'm doing major maintenance and preventive maint. before it hits the road I figured I would pull injectors and have them checked. but if the 96 would be an up grade I will have those checked and swap them out. and as for getting rid of whats left I will check with my son and let you guys know.
