47rh issues/adjustment

I have an issue with my transmission. I've looked thru alot of posts, but can't find the problem. A while back the truck would go in and out of lockup and OD like crazy. I replaced the tps, and it was ok for a while. Now it's doing something different. Instead of going 1-2-3-lockup-4, it goes 1-2-3-4 then lockup. and it won't shift into OD until ur over 55mph. Is there an adjustment of any kind? I've tried adjusting the TPS but haven't had any luck. It's not the OD switch or Brake switch, because it'll always shift over 55, just takes a while to get there cuz it never locks up in 3rd.

Have you tested the TPS to check and make sure it is in the required voltage?

Click> TPS testing and adjustment

If it is a 47RH, then the TPS and trans speed sensor tell the PCM when OD and lockup should occur. In your sig you have a 47RE which is almost a whole new set of problems. Also, your trans should shift 1-2-3-4 and then lockup. The last thing wanted on a stock trans is a locked shift of any gear. OD or 4th should occur around 35-40 and lockup around 50 on normal acceleration. Unfortunately this is one area reading won't tell you, but diagnosing will. You will need a half way decent digital volt meter to test TPS. Just because the TPS is new doesn't mean there is nothing wrong with it.
