freeze plug

can someone tell me what size freeze plugs are in the side of a 96 12v my heater cord melted.

Where did it melt too? Why can't you just swap out the cords?

it melted where it screws into the heater. the cords i've found are over $50.

12 bucks from cummins dealer. You don't actually pull anything out of the block. For the cord swap, you just turn off the nut , and the cord actually plugs into the block heater. You just plug the new one in, and tighten the nut back down over the new cord.
